Everything Noura does is built to protect the softest part of what you share.
Private messages
Messages are transmitted over TLS and stored on our secure infrastructure. Only you and the person you're talking with can see them in the app. Noura staff do not read messages except when required to investigate a safety report.
Your journal is yours
Journal entries are private to your account, protected by row-level access controls, and encrypted in transit. Only you can read them in the app. Noura AI processes an entry only when you ask it to (e.g. to generate a reflection).
No advertising, ever
We don't sell your data and we don't run ads. Noura is free — we sustain the app through a small service fee on booked 1:1 sessions.
Human moderation
Every circle has a trained facilitator. Safety reports are reviewed by humans, not algorithms.
Data export & delete
One-click export. One-click delete. Your data leaves with you.
Crisis first
If you or someone in Noura expresses risk of harm, our safety team acts, with warmth and speed, and points you to local emergency resources.
